Content updates are among the most common tasks when managing a website. This includes editing text, replacing outdated images, and adding new visual elements.
Editing Text
To update text, simply open the relevant page or post and click on the text block you wish to modify. You can then type directly into the editor.
When updating text, ensure that:
- The content is clear and easy to read
- Spelling and grammar are correct
- The tone remains consistent with your brand
Well-written content improves user experience and credibility.
Updating Images
Images play an important role in the visual appeal of your website. It is important to use properly sized and optimized images to maintain fast loading speeds and a professional appearance.
Recommended Image Sizes
- Banner images: 1200 × 600 pixels
- Blog images: 800 × 400 pixels
- Thumbnails: 300 × 300 pixels
Using appropriately sized images prevents distortion and improves performance.
Replacing an Existing Image
To replace an image, click on the image within the editor and select the Replace option. You can then upload a new image or choose one from the Media Library.
After replacing the image, ensure it is properly aligned and displayed as intended before updating the page.
Adding a New Image
To add a new image, click the Add Block (+) button and select the Image block. You can upload a file from your computer or choose an existing image from the Media Library.
Adding relevant images can enhance engagement and make content more visually appealing.
