Overview
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your login process. In addition to your password, you will be required to enter a verification code generated on your mobile device.
This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised.
How 2FA Works
After entering your username and password:
- You will be prompted to enter a verification code
- Open your authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator or similar)
- Enter the code displayed on your device
- Complete the login process
Setting Up 2FA (If Enabled)
If 2FA is required for your account, you will be guided through the setup process upon your first login. This typically involves:
- Scanning a QR code using an authentication app
- Verifying the setup with a generated code
Follow the on-screen instructions carefully to complete the setup.
Important Notes
- Keep your mobile device secure, as it is required for login
- Do not share your verification codes
- If you lose access to your device, contact support immediately
